About Me
The Onion Magazine and Onion Weekender covers were among my favorite projects at The Onion. To effectively parody popular magazines, a cover needed to reference the style and format of the kind of magazine that would publish a real-world version of the story. Similar fonts, color palettes, and editorial-style imagery created the illusion of a real cover from Time, Bon Appétit, or a 1989 issue of Electronic Games magazine.
